A bamboo from the Himalayas with green culms. This shade-loving bamboo is a full and  vigorous grower. New shoots come up in late spring and summer. The culms become progressively more branched each year.  As a result, the overall look is more pendulous which is a signature look for this Fargesia.  It has a fountain-like growth habit. Fine specimen plants or space well for non-spreading screen. Evergreen in Zone 5 and warmer, but not for hot climates

  • Use as green screen or wind barrier, containers well and stands alone as a living statuesque garden feature
