Toothwood Fern Dryopteris spinulosa |
The 'Toothed Wood Fern' is vase-like and symmetrical, nearly evergreen, lacey and delicate. This is a fern that seems suited to almost any part of the garden with its willingness to thrive in areas with some sun to part shade from slightly moist to downright boggy. A large, lacy, woodland fern, that also is well suited for the landscaped shade bed. Their gracefulness makes them especially suited for companions to the Hosta. Performs well in sun but prefers partial shade.
