Bambusa multiplex   

Known as a semitropical clumping bamboo but it can actually sustain temperatures as low as 15°F.  It has attractive yellow culms and vertical green stripes. Young growth is pink. Grows nicely in indoor scapes and containers with ½ sun exposure.  Shopping malls and hospitals use these bamboos in display gardens and containers as they usually stunt at about seven feet as an indoor plant.

Bambusa multiplex 'Golden Goddess' 

Commonly called the Hedge Bamboo as it is low growing and thick.  It has small leaves and light orange canes. Usually 8 to 10' tall but in its native environment it is found at 20' with 1/2" culms.
