Festuca glauca 'Boulder Blue' F. Boulder Blue is not as soft-looking as F. Elijah Blue, but is a very bright blue, and is typically more drought tolerant. This charming Festuca thrives even in the cool season.  Its intense blue color shows through on elegant narrow, upright blades.  Not as blue as ‘Elijah Blue’ but ever so much more upright.

Festuca glauca 'Elijah Blue' This popular Festuca is one of the bluest of the blues. It also holds this powdery blue in the hot dry summer.  As a fescue, it naturally looks great during the cooler season.  The clumps have sparse flowers in the spring but it is much loved for the foliage and not so much for the insignificant seed heads.
